Calling all artists, craftspeople, history buffs, and collectors – Join us for dinner** on Friday Nov. 3 to learn how we are helping you by supporting the education, preservation and promotion of local folk art. **Includes – Dinner, Dessert, Live Music, Folk Art & Gift Basket Raffles/Auctions, and some special surprises!
This fundraising dinner and social event will help our organization bring to life our 2018 classes, special folk art shows, exhibits, and events. On the evening of the gala, we’ll be sharing where we have been and where we are now as a foundation. We’ll also take some time to share how this gala is a strategic part of where we will be going in 2018.
During the evening, we’ll be presenting a very special award to a member of our community who has shown outstanding support for folk art and folklife, and who embodies the joy and hospitality inspired by our dearly missed Gwen Foltz.
We’ll also have art, gift cards, and gift baskets for raffle and will be giving away a wonderful door prize!
